Therapy for Life is a locally owned and operated physiotherapy service, with a focus on personalised care and best-practice physiotherapy. Commencing in 2002, Therapy for Life has steadily grown to encompass Mount Gambier and Millicent.

Laura Crowe-Owen

Laura is our principal physiotherapist. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1996, her Master of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy in 2010. She has a particular interest in chronic pain, hand therapy and complex musculoskeletal problems. Click here to find out more about Laura.

Shelley Blachut

Shelley completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Latrobe University in 2011. Shelley is our qualified lymphoedema and women's health practictioner. She has a particular interest in women's health and netball. Click here to find out more about Shelley.

 

Carly Emerson

Carly completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2015 at the University of South Australia. Carly's professional interest areas are; Hockey and sporting injuries, physiotherapy in adolescents and musculoskeletal conditions. Click here to find out more about Carly.

 

Tarsh McCallum

Tarsh completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2014. Tarsh has particular interests in netball and football injuries, ACL rehabilitation and sport specific conditioning. Click here to find out more about Tarsh.

 

 

Massage Therapy by mel

We have just recently welcomed Melissa Mahoney into our team. Mel has just recently lauched her business 'Massage Therapy by Mel'. Mel completed her dipoloma in Remedial Massage Therapy with Evolve College in 2017. Melissa is trained in remedial, sports, deep tissue and relaxation massage. Glenn 

Glenn is our beloved practice manager and is never to be seen without his sense of humour, unless the coffee machine or computers are broken.  He has been an essential part of the Therapy for Life team since its second year and has worked closely with Laura to see it grow throughout its various stages. He has enabled the technological progress we have needed when running the practice in multiple locations. 

Mary-Jane "MJ"

Mary-Jane is our Millicent Receptionist. She has brought with her a wealth of customer service knowledge. As a long time local she knows nearly every face that comes through the door and always greets everyone with a friendly smile.

jannelle

Jannelle is our Mount Gambier Receptionist and examplifies much of our practice ethos. Jannelle takes pride in making every person she encounters know they are important and cared for and adores when a baby comes in for a visit. She is a proud mother of both her human and fur children.
